Robotic Process Automation

Considering how pervasive computer systems are it is quite incredible how much manual processing is still involved. How often do you move data from a spreadsheet to a web form or from an ERP system to a customer report? You will know many cases where people are the interface between disparate systems while there is no need for judgement or a decision process.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) can replace the manual process with lightweight robots. You do not have to change your existing systems or software as the robots provide the ‘glue’ between them. Neither do the existing applications need APIs or integration endpoints as the robots mimic human interaction with them.

As robots don’t need a rest, they can reliably undertake their tasks releasing your staff to more productive activities. The heavy lifting is performed in the Cloud with minimal PC components which means that costs can be easily set against the time savings and increases in reliability. Moreover, implementation is generally incremental allowing you to proceed at your own pace.
